Every person has inherent value and a story that matters.

Our struggles rarely exist in isolation. Anxiety, relationship conflict, emotional overwhelm, family stress, and life transitions are often connected to deeper patterns, experiences, beliefs, and relationships that have shaped us over time. Through honest conversation, practical guidance, and relational understanding, counseling can help create meaningful change both inside and outside the therapy room.

Understanding The Story

Strengthening Resilience

Develop greater emotional awareness, navigate life's challenges more effectively, and respond to difficult circumstances with increased confidence, flexibility, and hope.

Moving Forward with Clarity

The goal is not simply insight or symptom management, but renewed clarity and confidence that carries beyond the therapy room into daily life and relationships.

Meet Jessica

I believe people are more than the struggles they face.

Many challenges make more sense when viewed through the relationships, experiences, family dynamics, and personal beliefs that shape us over time. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, counseling often involves understanding the deeper patterns that influence how we think, relate, and respond to life's challenges.

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate, I work with individuals, couples, and families from a relational perspective while providing honest conversation, practical guidance, and compassionate support. My work is informed by both clinical training and a Christian understanding of people, relationships, personal responsibility, and growth. I practice under the supervision of a South Carolina LMFT-S and AAMFT Approved Supervisor: Jan Stone-Allen.

Christian Framework: Understanding People and Relationships

Counseling is available to individuals from a variety of backgrounds, beliefs, and levels of faith. Some clients desire a more overt integration of faith, while others prefer conversations that are less explicitly religious. Rather than assuming what role faith should play, counseling is approached with respect for each client's beliefs, goals, and comfort level.

My work is informed by a Christian understanding of people and relationships. I believe every person has inherent value, that relationships play a significant role in shaping our lives, and that many struggles make more sense when viewed within the context of our experiences, beliefs, family systems, and relationships.

From this perspective, healing is often less about finding quick answers and more about growing in self-awareness, honesty, responsibility, wisdom, and connection. While suffering, conflict, and brokenness are realities of life, they do not have to be the final word. Meaningful change is possible, and counseling can provide a space to better understand ourselves, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
